Powerstone is always striving to provide the best products to our customers. So this December we sent Richard and Jannet to Northern Iran to inspect the Oynx quarry operations.

Enjoying the cool dry climate of the region, we spoke at length with the quarry operators about current operations and ensuring high quality for our customers. We are happy to report that everything is running smoothly and there is a steady supply of quality stone from the quarry. In fact, quarry management felt sure they would be able to meet a moderate increase in demand for the 2018 year. Richard and Jannet also inspected the quarry equipment. Purchased from Italy, it has been well maintained and efficiently cuts blocks from the quarry face.

The scenery from the quarry is breathtaking. With the quarry to your back the lowlands of the Kopet Dag mountain range stretch as far as the deep blue skies overhead. Our Iranian hosts are very hospitable and united in our commitment to our customers.
